Mixed Media
What is Mixed Media? Mixed Media is defined as: A technique involving the use of two or more artistic media, such as ink and pastel or painting and collage, that are combined in a single composition. Most of the works you will see here will fall under this category of art. I often use acrylic paints, watercolors, pastels, charcoal, ink, collage, and modeling paste in my paintings. They are built up layer upon layer. While this type of art is my main focus, I also create art dolls and dollhouse miniatures from time to time as well.
I refuse to choose a niche and stick with it! I prefer to create that which I'm inspired to create rather than being bound by the production expectations of others.
Workshops
I am very excited to announce that I will soon be offering Online Workshops! It's all in the production phase at the moment however, we hope to be up and running sometime this fall! We will be offering a few free workshops along with the tution based workshops. Subjects will include but are not limited to:
Mixed Media Paintings, Dollhouse Miniatures in various themes, Making your own Art Journal, Art Dolls, ATCs, and more!
